Completed in 2018, the cottage is located on the shores of the peaceful Pirttijärvi lake, only about 50 minutes drive from the centre of Rovaniemi — the perfect place for those who appreciate nature peace and carefree.
The cottage is located in the headland of the farm with unobstructed views of the lake — landscapes that change with the seasons and provide a unique atmosphere throughout the year. A higher room height than usual adds a sense of space and light.
The water system contains summer water directly from Lake Pirttijärvi, which is filtered in three stages — a safe and carefree solution for cottage use. In the kitchen, you will also enjoy everyday amenities such as a dishwasher.
The interior has two comfortable bedrooms and a spacious loft that serves as an additional accommodation space for children or guests, for example. The heart of the kitchen is an atmospheric wood stove. The cabin also has a remote-controlled air heat pump, which provides comfort all year round.
The living room opens directly onto a large terrace — like another living room in summer. The perfect place for morning coffee, enjoying the sun or spending the evening in good company admiring the lake scenery.
