If a share is transferred to a new owner outside the company, the transferee must immediately notify the board, and the shareholders have the right to redeem the share under the following conditions: The redemption right does not apply to transfers based on inheritance, wills, marital rights, spousal rights, and mergers. If multiple shareholders wish to exercise their redemption rights, the shares must be divided by the board among those willing to redeem them in proportion to their ownership. If the distribution of shares is not equal, the remaining shares are distributed by lottery among those wishing to redeem them.
