This has been a popular industry in the Algarve since around 1853. There are some remains of the old factory still there today. Parchal is in an excellent location from where you can visit the whole of the Algarve. Close to Ferragudo, Portimão, Lagoa & Silves with excellent public transport links. Why not take a trip along the river or visit one of the excellent cafe bars & restaurants. |
